A Lifetime of Hoosier living
I've been proud to call Indiana my home for almost 31 years. I grew up in LaGrange, where my mother and her parents worked in the public schools for their entire careers. While my dad was deployed, I was raised by a mother who relied on her community to help raise three children. When my dad, a now retired US Army Master Sergeant, was home, he instilled in me a sense of discipline and dedication to doing my part with a team.Â
A Decade of
Hard WorkÂ
I've been working with my hands and on my feet for the entirety of my adult life. I know what hard work is. I've worked in blistering heat, freezing temperatures, and often until I didn't think I could anymore. The dedication I have to building housing foundations is the same dedication I plan to bring to the fight for our district.
A Passion for Knowledge& Justice
I've always been a curious person who wanted to understand why the world worked the way it does. This curiosity thrust me into studies of human nature and history, which eventually led me to political studies. In high school, I was a part of the Indiana Legislative Youth Advisory Council and attended Hoosier Boys State. I graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor's degree in Political Science and a minor in History. I have the knowledge, dedication, and fresh perspective that I think this state needs.Â
